3 Karate Supplies And Equipment You Can’t Do Without
When you train at your karate school, there’s a few karate supplies that you shouldn’t leave home without.
Martial Arts Equipment Gear Bags
You want to make sure that you have a separate bag for your karate equipment. Your karate uniform can become sweaty, and you wouldn’t want that to stink up the bag that you normally bring to school or work. Also, if you spar and carry karate sparring equipment, a large equipment bag capable of carrying your head gear, foot guards, hand guards is essential.
Workout Towel
When it comes to martial arts training supplies, the workout towel is often forgotten. Karate training can get sweaty and you’ll want a workout towel to wipe away the perspiration. If you don’t use a workout towel, then your karate uniform will absorb all the sweat, causing it to smell very quickly.
Sandals
If you take a look at the bottom of your feet after walking around barefoot in the karate dojo, you’ll probably find that your soles are covered in dirt. When you’re in karate class practicing martial arts drills with a partner, the last thing you want is to make an imprint of your foot onto your partner’s karate gi (or have a foot imprint on yours).
You can wear a regular pair of sandals to keep your feet clean in the karate club, or you can go with a traditional Japanese sandals know as a “zori”.
