Size 9 Karate Gi

A size 9 karate gi, or any other plus size karate uniforms are hard to come by. Karate, which comes from a country where the average person is much smaller than the typical North American, it’s obvious to see why large karate uniforms are generally not available. However, if you shop around, you’ll be able to find a uniform that will fit your body shape.

Typically uniforms for karate come in sizes 000 to size 7. Size 7 uniforms are suited for individuals with a height of 6’8” and a weight of 240lbs. If you’re bigger than this, you may want to consider an Oddessy brand heavy weight gi. These uniforms are made in the USA, and come in sizes up to 12! (And even larger uniforms are available if requested). The fabric is 10-12 ounce, and the uniforms come in either black or white.
